December 17

"In the end, kids won't remember that fancy toy you bought for them, they will remember the time you spent with them." - Kevin Heath

A Note From Mr. Witherspoon:

I, on behalf of all of us at Cleveland, wish that each one of our Cleveland community members have a safe and happy break.  Take some time to slow down, relax, and enjoy the little people that we all have been blessed with.  Please remember that this is also a great time that our Eagles can learn in ways that are outside of the walls of a school.  Below is a list of items that you can do over the break with your Eagle(s):

We are entering the #Hashtag world of Social Media!!! Please utilize the #ClevelandSOARS (and #LivoniaPride) if you want to show off your Eagle! There are a ton of awesome things going on and this is a great way for us to show off a little!!!

Lastly, we are into our Second Trimester of the school year and it will be even better than the first one!!  Please continue to celebrate your child's hard work thus far and set some goals for them for the 2nd Trimester.  Conversations with your children can help develop a deeper understanding of each objective that they are learning in the classroom.  Questioning them (though you may know the answers) on the facts and processes of what they are learning is another way to reinforce their learning!  Please keep in close contact with your child's teacher during this semester as things will begin to speed up.

Please, as always, give me a call or email if you have any questions/concerns/compliments regarding Cleveland!!!!

Stay Awesome and Keep SOARing Eagles!!!!
