A Note From Mr. Witherspoon:
Welcome to 2020 at Cleveland!!! I hope that your year is off to a great start and will be the best year yet for each of you! We were so happy to welcome back our Eagles back to school for another 6 months of learning. This school year seems to be going by much faster than any in the past; before you know it, we will be clapping our fourth-graders out to Cooper Upper Elementary School and preparing to welcome a new group of Kinder Eagles to Cleveland. Please take time to enjoy each day that you have with your children as they most certainly do grow up fast.
The winter months are a crucial time when learning takes place both in and out of school. The most important thing that you can do to help you child meet their learning potential is to talk to them about school (ex. "What was the best part of your day? What made that the best part?"); they will tell you if you are tenacious with questioning. The interest that you show in their school day will increase in their delight in learning.
Please, as always, give me a call or email if you have any questions/concerns/compliments regarding Cleveland!!!!
Stay Awesome and Keep SOARing Eagles!!!!
Other Notes:
Don't forget to utilize the #ClevelandSOARS and #LivoniaPride when you show off your Eagle on social media! There are a ton of awesome things going on and this is a great way for us to show off a little!!!
Eagle of the Month Celebration!!! We look forward to celebrating more Eagles during the month of January!!!! The theme for this month is "Integrity"; take some time to talk with your children about what this looks like at home and at school.
Next Celebration: Monday, January 27, 2020 (K-2 @ 9:15 am; 3rd-4th grade @ 10 am)
Running Late: Parents/Guardians are required to come into the building to sign their students in after 8:55 am; this will allow students to begin their academic day sooner. Thank you for you cooperation!!!
Recess: Often Students are playing games that are appropriate for home, but not at school, during recess. Please have some conversations with your students regarding safe games they could play during this time. Many of our students have learned a couple new games already from staff and/or friends.
Health/Safety: Please remember to always check in at the office prior to entering any part of the building and/or property.

Mrs. Wichmann
I have been teaching Kindergarten at Cleveland for 8 years. I have been teaching in Livonia for 18 years! I live with my husband, 2 daughters, a dog and 3 chickens. My daughters are in middle school and high school. My oldest, Sophia, is in 10th grade and in the marching band. She plays the flute. My youngest, Isabella, is into riding and showing horses. She plays the clarinet in her middle school band.
I like to work in my garden when the weather is nice and when it isn’t, I like to read in front of the fireplace.
Mrs. Banks
I have been teaching at Cleveland for the past eight years with six of those wonderful years being spent with the kinders. I am proud to forever be a Cleveland Eagle, having attended here as student over 20 years ago.
Mrs. Wysocki
This is my sixteenth year teaching in Livonia Public Schools and my eighth year teaching kindergarten at Cleveland! I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three sons: Mitchell (10), Ryland (8) and Reid (5). All three of my boys play hockey, so I’m at the rink a lot...which I love. :) We like to travel Up North throughout the year, and our favorite summer vacation each year is traveling to Myrtle Beach. There we soak up lots of sunshine and make many memories. When I have down time to myself, I enjoy scrapbooking and baking.
Ms. Magoulick
This is my 7th year teaching in Livonia. I have been teaching kindergarten at Cleveland for 5 years. I graduated from Michigan State University...Go Green! I enjoy playing with my dog, Chip who is a crazy golden retriever. I also enjoy playing soccer indoor and outdoor which keeps me busy year round.
